How the best affiliates actually do it.
- Annual > monthly Annual plans pay you a bigger commission up front (MST Gold pays you $335 the day they sign up). If your audience is serious about trading, lean into the annual pitch.
- Show, don't tell Screen-share the Discord. Show the flow feed. Show a live alert hitting. People convert on what they see, not what you say.
- One link, everywhere Pin your invite — X bio, YouTube channel banner CTA, Instagram link sticker, newsletter footer, Linktree. Don't make people hunt for it.
- Re-share quarterly New audiences cycle in every quarter. A pinned tweet from January is invisible to the people who followed you in April. Re-pitch on a calendar — it's not annoying, it's distribution.
- Ask for your numbers DM me once a month for a stats snapshot — joiners, conversions, what's actually working. The placement that's converting (vs. the one you thought would) is almost always a surprise. Lean into the surprise.

Do I have to be a Main Street Trades member to be an affiliate?

When exactly do I get paid?
On the 1st of each month, I total your prior-month conversions and PayPal you the commission. No minimum threshold — if you earned $12 last month, you get $12 on the 1st. PayPal usually arrives same-day.
What if someone cancels or refunds?
If a refund happens inside the same monthly cycle as the original payment, that commission won't show up in your payout (since the underlying payment was reversed). After the cycle closes and you've been paid out, future renewals from that member are still 50% yours for as long as they stay subscribed.
Can I use my link in paid ads?
Yes, but check with me first if you're running Meta or Google ads — we want to make sure the creative and
claims are within the lines (no "guaranteed returns", no "insider info" framing). DM

Can I change my handle, payout email, or anything else later?
DM me on Discord (dan_shim123) anytime. New handle → I mint a fresh Discord invite for the new
handle (the old one keeps working too — Discord doesn't auto-expire invites). New PayPal email → I update
your payout destination before the next 1st-of-month cycle.
Is there a creator tier with higher commission?
For affiliates driving consistent volume there's a creator tier with a higher rate and a custom branded landing page. Get on the board first; we'll have that conversation once the numbers are real.
How do I know my invite is actually being tracked?
DM me anytime for a snapshot — I can show you click count, joiner count, and which joiners have converted to paid. The system is the Discord audit log + our membership database; both are durable, no third-party tracker can break it.
